Since 2013 the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino has been a preferred destination for visitors who want an authentic Vegas experience. The boutique hotel features modern rooms with beautiful decor, seven different dining experiences, including the world-famous Triple George Grill, a rooftop pool and retreat area known as Citrus, entertainment areas including a comedy club and an amazing casino. The opening of the Gallery Tower in September 2020 has expanded the resort to 3 towers.
The Western opened in 1970 as the Western Hotel & Bingo Parlor and was owned by Jackie Gaughan and Mel Exber. At its opening, The Western was the world’s largest bingo parlor with 1,020 seats. It featured $1 slots and $1 beers. The main attraction for a limited-budget player was that there were numerous penny slot machines. Since 2013, Fifth Street Gaming has been the manager of this property and involved with potential development with the real estate owners.
The Lucky Club Casino and Hotel is conveniently located off of I-15 and Cheyenne Avenue and is a favorite for truckers and with locals in North Las Vegas. It is a value based hotel offering rooms & dining at reasonable rates and has over 300 slots and features the newest electronic gaming machines. They are a favorite with the local Hispanic community, and feature Latin Karaoke, weekly Loteria, & authentic Mexican dining in Lucy’s restaurant. It is only 10 minutes from the Strip and downtown Las Vegas.
The Western opened in 1970 as the Western Hotel & Bingo Siegel Slots and Suites is located in Las Vegas, Nevada near Nellis Air Force Base and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The hotel offers 120 fully furnished rooms where you can stay, eat, and play for a day or an extended stay. The 11,000 square feet of gaming space a William Hill Race & Sports Book, and more than 200 multi-denominational slot machines. Siegel’s Lounge features live entertainment and the Southern Table restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fifth Street Gaming managed this property since 2012 before working with the real estate owner on an exit to Nevada Restaurant Services, Inc. (dba Dotty’s).
The Silver Nugget Casino & Event Center, built in 1964 and a true survivor from the pioneering days of Las Vegas gambling, is classic “Old School” Las Vegas. They offer value, quality dining, an exciting casino featuring slots, video poker and a sports-book. The Silver Nugget Event Center is home of some of the hottest events, concerts, and rodeos in North Las Vegas. The Mexican entertainment experience has long been a focal point at Silver Nugget featuring live bands, and rodeo stars like Ezequiel Pena at outdoor Terrenos.
Gold Spike Hotel & Casino originally opened in 1976 as the 112 room Rendezvous. The Gold Spike for years has been known as an inexpensive hotel with few amenities. On December 6, 2002, it was sold and management discontinued the table games and only offered slot machines. It was then sold in 2008 to the Seigel Group. The Siegel Group set out to completely renovate the property and combine it with an old and forgotten 52-room motel located next to the property. It was then sold to the Downtown Project in 2013.
Opera House Casino was a casino located on Las Vegas Boulevard North in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Known for its quaint and friendly environment with well priced food and beers, Opera House was a staple in the North Las Vegas community. Opened in 1978 as the Opry House it was owned and operated by Fifth Street Gaming before selling the property to Nevada Restaurant Services, Inc. (dba Dotty’s).
Since 2006, Fifth Street Gaming has owned and operated this internationally recognized gaming tavern. Rebranded to The Golden Tiki on July 24, 2015, the space is divided into four unique zones. The interior design and build out were done by Danny “Tiki Diablo” Gallardo. The bar has a thatched roof, and is topped by an animatronic talking tiki head, named Goldy, created by Erik “Irk” Hedman. A loveseat-sized artificial giant clam is popular for photos or “selfies.” A flaming pu-pu platter is available on Friday and Saturday nights and they also have live events and feature DJs and live bands.
