Chris Gellner is Executive Vice President of Operations at Fifth Street Gaming, where he leads day to day operations across the company’s portfolio with a primary focus on Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino in North Las Vegas.

A Las Vegas native, Chris has spent his entire 25 year career in Nevada gaming. He started at age 22 as a craps dealer at the El Cortez in downtown Las Vegas, learning the business from the casino floor up. After advancing to floor supervisor, he moved into progressively larger leadership roles and joined Station Casinos, where he spent two decades working virtually every position in casino operations. He rose to Vice President and General Manager, a role he held for nine years, with leadership tenures at properties including Aliante, Fiesta Rancho, and Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa Casino. His track record spans gaming operations, guest service, team member culture, and financial performance at some of the most successful locals casinos in the Las Vegas market.

At Fifth Street Gaming, Chris brings that locals market expertise to a growing portfolio of properties serving the communities where he grew up.

Away from work, Chris is a lifelong automotive enthusiast who has been building custom vehicles since he was 15, with several magazine features and SEMA showcases to his name. A former hockey player, he is a devoted Vegas Golden Knights fan. He and his family live in Las Vegas, where he raised his two children.
